"Setting the Hook" Youth Fishing Clinic
"Setting the Hook" sponsored by Greenline SA has postponed to future date. In lieu of postponement, Fin Addict Angler Foundation will have the clinic at Acequia Park, 8500 Mission Prkwy, 78223 Event from 5:30 - 9 pm.

About The Event
Fin Addict Angler Foundation parterning with the San Antonio River Authority is hosting the event at Acequia Park to provide a "free to the public" youth fishing clinic from ages 5 to 16. Courtesy of the Texas Park & Wildlife Department, event participants and volunteers are exempt from having a fishing license from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Must check-in on site. All equipment will be provided for the event. Fin Addict Instructors and volunteers will educate the youth on the basics of fishing through fun methods making this event full of excitement! We encourage you to wear comfortable clothing and plenty of sun protection. Adults must accompany children. Volunteers and teens ages 14 or older who want to support their community and others by volunteering or need community hours for school are welcome to apply online volunteer@finaddictangler.org. Donations are welcomed and appreciated for fishing event to include equipment, bait, teaching materials, participant awards and volunteer refreshments. "Setting the Hook" is a FREE public exciting fishing event for ages 5-16 sponsored by Greenline SA. Registration check-in for online and onsite begins at 9 am and ends at 11 am. Come for a exciting fun day of free fishing lessons and bank fishing at the Greenline SA ponds.
