About The Event
BCFS Health and Human Services-San Antonio helps youth to reach their full potential by providing services that promote healthy development. Donations are needed and accepted for programs like these to give Free Angler education. There are many reasons why fishing is good: Nature Appreciation, meaningful Social Bonds, improved Coordination, Good Morals and Good Ethics, builds Confidence, get to learn Preservation and Patience, Focus, teaches Independence, creating Memories that matter and many, many more. Fin Addict Angler Foundation brings people to the great outdoors by combing an appreciation for the sport of fishing with a respect for one of our greatest natural resources-water. Our volunteers are trained by Executive Director & Founder, Oscar Castillo, our TPWD Area Chief Angler Instructor. We EDUCATE in areas of basic angler skills including stewardship and aquatic safety. To then ENGAGE through hands-on experiences, and EMPOWER newfound and experienced anglers to use their new knowledge while strengthening the bonds of togetherness. Donate today on our donate page and together let's make a foster difference! [Foster...encourage or promote the development of something, typically regarded as good]
