About The Event
Fin Addict Angler Foundation is partnering with CPS Energy to provide a Kid Fishing Day to 40 special youth from Kinetic Kids and United Way programs. If you have volunteered with us before, then you know the special place in our hearts for mentor programs. Your help is needed to make this a success for the kids. Volunteers Are Needed for Fishing Buddies and Fishing Helpers to assist with games and other roles as well. Many of these children have not fished before and will need basic lessons on rigging and baiting their new rod and reel using their new tackle box. A small cove near the Calaveras Lake Pier will be netted and stocked with 500 catfish donated by TPWD (catch & release event). Come out for Great Outdoors, Good Catching, Good Food, New Friends!
