The Fin Addict Angler Boat Tournament fundraiser promotes a spirit of friendly competition while participants enjoy the sport of fishing with family and friends and make some special memories

Tournament Rules

Team Qualifications: This tournament is open to the public. Each team must have one member who is 18 years of age or older. There can be up to 4 members per team/boat. A team registration form can be submitted online and the entry fee paid prior to the event.

Registration: Early registration is strongly encouraged. As a bonus, teams pre-registered by June 22, 2019 will receive a limited edition tournament t-shirt for every registered member (only while supplies last)

Registration is available on the day of the tournament. If your team registers in-person the day of the tournament, the entry fee must be paid in cash - no other payment methods will be accepted.

Registration Fee: The registration fee is $120 per team (up to 4 members per team/boat).

Check-In: 5:30 a.m. - 7:00 a.m. There will be an informal meeting at 7:15 a.m. the morning of the event to go over tournament rules and guidelines. Registration will continue until 9:00 a.m.

Tournament Times: You must check-in at tournament table to confirm your team's registration before you begin fishing regardless of your arrival time.

Teams can begin fishing at 7:30 a.m. and will submit their fish no later than 3:30 p.m. Fish caught before 7:30 a.m. or submitted after 3:30 p.m. will not be eligible for judging. In order for a fish to be eligible for judging, it must be submitted by 3:30 p.m. Winners will be announced at the event and on the Fin Addict Angler Website the week following the tournament.

Tackle & Fishing Equipment: Live, dead and artificial bait will be permitted. Each boat will be allowed to have and use up to eight poles at a time. Please use fishing poles or cane poles in this tournament - no nets or traps or any other method may be used in this tournament. No down rigging! No jug line! You must bring your own fishing gear, bait etc.

Fishing Location: For this tournament teams will be allowed to fish by personal watercraft in the water of Calaveras Lake. Children should wear a life jacket while in the boat.

Fishing Laws: This tournament will adhere to all State (TPWD) fishing rules. For TPWD rules, visit the TPWD website. Fish size must be legal in order to be eligible for judging.

Judging: Tournament judging is as follows

6 fish stringer - up to 3 redfish and 3 catfish per boat, all by weight

All legal fish must be brought to the judge's table. You must be in line by 3:30 p.m. with your fish to be eligible for tournament judging. All judges' decisions are final.

Awards: Winners (1st, 2nd & 3rd TBD) will be announced after judging has concluded.

Check-in starts at 5:30 a.m.. Please check-in prior to fishing.

Teams that are pre-registered by June 22, 2019 will receive a free limited edition tournament shirt.
