About The Event
This event is dedicated to fostering community connection and environmental stewardship through engaging, shared experiences. The Fin Addict Angler Foundation and the San Antonio River Authority shared mission is to bring the community together for educational and enriching activities within the beautiful natural setting of the park along the San Antonio River.
Event Highlights
Fin Addict Angler Instructors lead this free-to-the-public clinic for children ages 5 to 16. Hands-on lessons cover basic fishing techniques such as casting, setting up gear, and how to fish along with topics on safety, knot tying, and stewardship,
No fishing license required in partnership with the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD), for participants or volunteers during the event.
Fishing equipment like fishing rods, reels, tackle and bait are provided.
A positive atmosphere to meet new people and connect with nature.
