About The Event
The Fin Addict Angler Foundation is excited to partner with the San Antonio River Authority for the upcoming Fall Festival at Helton Nature Park! We are looking for passionate volunteers and youth mentors (ages 14 and up) to teach local children basic fishing techniques, water safety, and environmental stewardship.
This free community celebration features something for everyone, including live music, games, delicious food, a car show, and a baking contest. As a volunteer, you will mentor young anglers during the fishing activities. Don't worry if you aren't an expert—we will train you! It is a wonderful opportunity to spend a beautiful day by the water, give back to the community, or earn required school service hours.
