About The Event
Fin Addict Angler Foundation continues its support of angler education to bring people back to the great outdoors by combining an appreciation for the sport of fishing with a respect for one of our greatest natural resources - water. We are happy to arrange an opportunity to visit the CCA Marine Development Center in Corpus Christi, the first Texas state-operated fishing hatchery and visitor center. You will experience a great educational tour on the produciton of juvenile red drum and spotted seatrout for releasing into Texas bays for stock enhancement. In respect to leasing agreements we are asking participants to not take pictures of the power plant in the background when taking pictures of a fish caught.
*Space is very limited - please register early. As a result, we ask that you limit your group to 5 or less people. Every participant must be registered. Transportation is not included - everyone will meet at the hatchery 15 minutes prior to the start of the tour. The tour starts at 8:30am. No fishing equipment is necessary. The hatchery and the Fin Addict Angler Foundation will provide the fishing equipment and the bait as well. Please wear weather approperiate clothing. A light lunch is sponsored by Celanese Veterans ERG.
